Questions people ask

Does this page upload something?

Yes — and it is the only page on this site that does. When you press Send, the text you typed is written to our database, and the uploads counter in the top bar ticks to 1. That is the counter doing its job. Every other page and tool here leaves it at 0.

What exactly is sent?

The text you typed, whether you marked it a bug or an idea, which tool page you came from if you came from one, and a contact only if you chose to type one. Nothing else — no account, no cookie, no device fingerprint.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for anywhere on this site, and that includes here.

Will I get a reply?

Only if you leave a contact, and then only when a reply is genuinely useful. Leaving it blank is completely fine — an anonymous bug report is still a bug report.
